Power Controllers

Full wave thyristor drives are used to drive heating resistors. They are generally used in glass industry, Fiber Optic manufacturing, and in seramic ovens.

Power Controllers are power units which transfer the line voltage to the load as parts of full waves. This tecnique enables harmonics free operation. In this way life time of resistors are considerably increased.
