HMD-ST Static Hot Metal Detector

Logika Technologies Static Hot Metal Detector HMD-ST is designed for iron and steel industry applications. Designed for harsh conditions. It is protected against high temperatures, steam, dust and smoke with its robust IP66 protection system. HMD-ST is used for the detection of hot metals at temperatures around 300˚C in billet, thin and thick material processes.
IMPORTANT FEATURES
Lead Sulfide Photocell-Highly protected against electrical noise, highly eliminates false signals. The sensor is designed to detect low temperatures and low emissions despite background heat radiation and infrared interference.
With Automatic Threshold Level Adjustment, the signal level is reduced when hot metal is detected and signal saturation is prevented
Designed for harsh conditions. Thanks to the robust IP66 protection system, water-cooled jacket and air cleaner, electronic components are protected from high temperatures, steam, dust and smoke.

HMD-SM Scanning Hot Metal Detector

Logika’s scanning hot metal detector HMD-SM enables hot metal detection across the entire width of a production line. Thanks to its scanning feature and advanced sensor detector, the sensor is installed far from the material, which protects the electronics and greatly extends the life of the sensor.
